Neutral and soft, fluffy and happy, every child loves looking at them – you guessed it, clouds!
Designing or decorating any room can be overwhelming, but a baby’s nursery has a special place in every mother’s heart. First, pick an inspiration piece, it’s the one thing that you love and can’t wait to incorporate into your child’s room – a throw pillow, a lamp, fabric, or a rug. Some moms will create an inspiration board of all the items they’ve seen online through social media channels (Pinterest is my go-to), design blogs like Project Nursery, or searching on Google.
Clouds are a simple and darling design element that works well for both boys and girls. There are an enormous amount of paint colors that will work with the concept, and I continue to notice more cloud nursery accessories and even fabrics being created and introduced.
Remember to have fun when creating the space; you will be spending a lot of time in there too. Think of it as your sanctuary as much as the baby’s room, and be sure to add a few touches that will make you smile. Remember, the details do count and I’ve found a few that I absolutely love.
A Cushy Cloud Rug
Cloud Wall Decals from Name Bubbles (Repositionable)
Cloud Shelves for pictures, books and sentimental items, and a Cloud Mobile to hang over the changing table
Cloud Hooks (they’re too cute not to have)
And last but not least, the item your baby will always remember, their soft Cuddle Cloud.
