Oh, Halloween. How I love it and loathe it all at the same time. Of course, you can’t ever be the house with the lame candy, so we’re always sure to buy some of the good stuff (i.e, chocolate). Granted, please keep in mind that in the past five years we’ve lived in our house, I think we’ve maybe had a total of 6 trick-or-treaters. Tops.
So, this leads to my inevitable stash of leftover chocolate, just sitting and staring me in the face. Typically, my husband and I have just done the whole “let’s bring in most (not all!) of the leftovers to our co-workers” thing, and it’s worked well. But this year, I purposely bought some candy that I knew I could do one thing with…bake!
